Any Suggestions for Reading Material – Music in the Time of the American Revolution
Any suggestions for reading material for the subject of music during the time of the American Revolution would be thankfully received.
Some old notes. Kept repeating many things on Google calendar. Am getting rid of old things – rearranging in order to revive and apply to 2019. Goal is to do some literature review of music as used in the time of the American Revolution. Further goal is to write up what is learned from each source. Finally put together an essay on the topic for publishing, finding an unexplored or under-explored sub-topic along the way.
*Project put in at Research Gate 11/28/16 – check it and edit it from time to time.
*Put in repeating and collect books to review and which publications might be interested.
*Write reviews of military music books starting with Farmer.
